Labor Day Weekend 2021 launches with the Newtown Lions 20th Anniversary Great Pootatuck Duck Race on Saturday, September 4, 11 am - 3 pm on the Pootatuck River in Historic Sandy Hook Center.

The half-day event offers fun for everyone with entertainment, exhibits, and vendors, as well as the not-to-be-missed duck dump and race to the finish at 2:30 pm from the Church Hill Rd bridge at the four corners.
Duck tickets are $5 and available Fridays and Saturdays at Newtown businesses through August 28 and in until 2 pm September 4 at the race site in Sandy Hook.
