Shredding Day in Ridgefield

Bring all your old receipts, bills, tax papers, bank statements, checks, etc. to be shredded by Winters Brothers mobile shred truck - you can even watch while they do it!  Funds raised by this event go toward Club initiatives, like those involving senior citizens and the RHS senior scholarship. Shredding Day will take place from 9am to 1pm at 94 Danbury Road - parking lot (behind Starbucks)
This event is sponsored by The Lions Club. Cost is $10.00 per paper-box sized box  (larger is extra).

Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970, empowering Earth dwellers to take action: coordinate community cleanup efforts, plant a tree and take heed of environmental sustainability. “Today, the fight for a clean environment continues with increasing urgency, as the ravages of climate change become more manifest every day,” The Earth Day Network explains.

2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day. In honor of this milestone, Earth Day Network is launching an ambitious set of goals to shape the future of 21st-century environmentalism. Learn more here.
