Strutt Your Mutt 2018 Dog Park Fundraiser

Get your leash, grab your family, and join Newtown Park and Bark on Saturday, May 19 for Strutt Your Mutt, its 9^th annual 2K dog walk and fair. Held on the campus of Fairfield Hills at the intersection of Trades Lane and Keating Farms Road, registration for the event begins at 10:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 11:00.

Avoid the lines by registering and paying online through PayPal at newtownparkandbark.org. The registration fee is $10 per dog and there is a limit of three dogs per handler. The first 25 pre-registered walkers receive dog goody bags.

Stick around after the walk for the dog fair with fun games and contests with prizes. Refuel with Sonny’s Grinders, serving up made-to-order Asian-style grinders. Kevin Koschel the Musicman will provide the entertainment.

Pleasant Hospital for Animals, Newtown Veterinary Specialists, Best Friends Pet Hotel and Cleaner Tails and check out our vendor fair including ARF Scarfs, See What I Saw, Mary Kay, Good Doggy Treats, Renewable by Andersen, the Connecticut Humane Society, Tiger Rose Labradors, Tick Ranger, Something Winey Crafts and Café Xpresso.

All proceeds from the event benefit local animal welfare organizations and provide upkeep of Park and Bark.
