Learn About Lab-Grown Diamond at Free Events November 2 and 3 In Danbury

On Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3, Michaels Jewelers at 132 Federal Road/Route 7 in Danbury will host a free two-day special “Treasure Chest Grown Diamond Event” to educate consumers on lab-grown diamonds.

The public is invited to a reception Friday evening between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., with a presentation by lab-grown diamond experts at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, experts will be available to talk with store guests between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with group presentations by lab-grown diamond experts at 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.

“We wanted to create an educational event in a comfortable environment,” stated Lindsay Michaels-Gorski, Michaels Director of Marketing. “As diamond specialists, we want to provide people with the opportunity to learn about the latest choice in diamonds, lab-grown diamonds. Our ambition is to ensure that people feel confident in making one of the most important decisions of their life.

“People buying diamonds today are flooded with information, some of which is less-than-reliable. For more than 130 years, Connecticut consumers buying diamonds have trusted Michaels Jewelers to provide them with the highest quality diamonds, at a fair price, and to stand behind our promises for the lifetimes of those diamonds.”

Michaels Jewelers is one of the first jewelers in Connecticut to earn Certified Gemologist and Certified Gemologist Appraiser titles, and it possesses one of the few AGS Accredited Gem Laboratories in the state.

With 10 locations across Connecticut, Michaels Jewelers is the state’s leading retailer of diamonds and fine jewelry. This family-run business was founded in 1885 by Abraham L. Michaels and is managed today by fourth and fifth generation family members.

Michaels Jewelers’ “Treasure Chest Grown Diamond” event will provide consumers with the opportunity to see a selection of lab-grown diamonds and to learn about these beautiful Type IIa diamonds directly from the retailer’s in-store experts.

During the two-day event, Michaels will raffle a Treasure Chest-Grown diamond Halo Pendant 1/2cttw valued at $1,000, no purchase will be necessary to enter the raffle. Purchasers of diamonds during the event will save $100 on pieces costing $1,000 and more.
