EMANUELA PALMARES

Emanuela Palmares is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, mom, wife, caregiver, editor, and founder EP Health Coaching – a private integrative nutrition health coaching practice focused on helping women from all walks of life find health, happiness and balance.

Her passion for health and wellness is the result of two key ingredients: first, her own struggles with multiple diets and workout regiments while balancing family, work, and community.  Second is her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, over 100 dietary theories, and studied with the world’s top health and wellness experts including: Andrew Weil, MD, director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Mark Hyman, MD, founder of The UltraWellness Center; and Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating.

With that knowledge she developed an effective health coaching protocol to break unhealthy habits by creating desirable healthier ones helping women find happiness and balance in the process. Emanuela’s mantra is: “You are what you eat and much more. Just dieting won’t do the trick”.

CARRIE AMOS

Carrie Amos is a devoted wife, mom to 3 kids, licensed therapist, and wellness warrior, who has spent the better part of her career leading not-for-profit organizations AND working with clients in private clinical practice.

Carrie does not believe one-size-fits all, especially when it comes to pursuing wellness. She looks to equip her clients with tools, tips and strategies in order for them to make positive and long lasting changes. Her goal is to create and provide a safe space where clients can dig deep and sort through emotions; feelings and thoughts as they begin to overcome, live and thrive! She works with individuals and couples and facilitates wellness groups for most age groups. She develops tailored plans with clients that have a start and a finish (i.e. she does not subscribe to a therapy forever relationship).

Carrie holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science from Manhattanville College, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Post graduate certifications include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Psychotherapy, leadership certifications, and she is a requested speaker and workshop facilitator for organizations, faith groups, and public and private schools.

The evening is set to end with an open Q&A session, raffle prizes and networking. To RSVP email info@newtownmoms.com or by visiting the event Facebook page by searching for: Improving Our Health Through Our Relationships.
