Paul Colburn’s Black Bears in Connecticut program focuses on the natural history of black bears in Connecticut. Get a well researched  education in black bear habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction and current research.  It also provides practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our black bear population.

Paul is a graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program (MWCP), a CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. As a Master Wildlife Conservationist, he is certified to offer programs on Black Bears, Bobcats, Eastern Coyote, Fisher, White-tailed Deer and CT Natural History dating as far back as 1650. 

He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, served honorably in the United States Army and tells a great story.
