Join us for a Panel Discussion with Chris DiNoto, a lifelong Newtown, CT resident, his Afghani translator Karim Ahmadi, and Rev. Dr. Steven R. Jungkeit. Hear the true story of how Chris and Karim met, worked together in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and finally re-united after trials & tribulations in Kabul during the U.S. Troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Rev. Jungkeit, Senior Minister of the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, will discuss the efforts entailed in housing Afghani refugees in Connecticut.
