Newtown Forest Association Offers FREE Tree Program on Jan. 20 at C.H. Booth Library

Tree Program at C.H. Booth Library on Thursday, January 20, at 6:30pm

Trent McCann, of the Newtown Forest Association (NFA) will speak about everything trees do for us if sustainably managed: clean our air, produce oxygen, carbon sequestration, lumber, food, etc. Trent has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Education and teaches ecology as an adjunct at UCONN.

Robert McCulloch, Tree Warden of the Borough of Newtown, CT will share numerous anecdotes about tress and what the Borough does and does not do regarding them locally.

Douglas Lord, Library Director, will moderate.  This program will be presented In-Person in the Gathering Room and via Zoom. Register on our website calendar: chboothlibrary.org
