Friends of CH Booth Library Spring Donation Day on April 10

Spring Book Donation Day, sponsored by the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library, is scheduled to run, rain or shine, on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from noon to 5 pm in the rear parking lot of the C.H. Booth Library at 25 Main Street, Newtown. Volunteers will be on hand to help you unload your donations and to provide tax receipts.

The Friends welcome your donations of new and gently-used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, video games, board games, and jigsaw puzzles. Please note that the Friends cannot accept encyclopedias, outdated reference and text books, travel guides, VHS tapes, Time-Life Series and Reader’s Digest books, magazines, or free pamphlets.

Your donations are used by the Friends to raise money for the library in the big annual summer book sale, to be held July 8-12 this year, the Little Book Store near the circulation desk on the second floor of the library, and in the Holiday sale in December.
