Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue LobsterFest on Friday, June 10, 5-9 pm; and Saturday, June 11, 4-9 pm.
Tickets are $33 in advance for a full lobster or steak dinner, which includes corn on the cob, a dinner roll, potato salad and chowder, and a soda or water. Surf & Turf upgrades available at the door.
Advance tickets are available from most members, at the office of The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road; and the Office of the Town Clerk and the Office of the Fire Marshal, both within Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street. Cash or check for those advance sales.
Tickets will be $35 at the door. Cash, check and credit/debit cards will all be accepted at the door.
A full bar will be operating, and a separate seafood bar — with steamers, raw clams, and shrimp — will also be available for a separate fee.
Live music both nights.
