C.H.Booth Library presents: Feminine Side of 20th Century Art from O'Keeffe to Frankenthaler

Feminine Side of 20th Century Art from O'Keeffe to Frankenthaler on Thursday May 18, 7:00 pm via FREE Zoom

In this lecture, ArtScapades gives us a well researched, illustrated presentation of artists, artwork & their social milieu.  They begin with the history of women in art, and how that history laid a foundation for future women artists in the twentieth century and beyond.  Included will be a look at the lives and works of Georgia O'Keefe (1887-1986), Joan Mitchell (1925-1992), and Helen Frankenthaler (1928-2011).  This program is thanks to generous funding from the Friends of the C. H. Booth Library. Register on our website calendar to receive the free Zoom link: chboothlibrary.org
