Two-Night Closure of Exit 9, I-84 Eastbound Ramps in Newtown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled two-night closure of the Exit 9, I-84 eastbound ramps in Newtown, on June 9 and 10, 2020.
The ramps will be closed beginning at 10:00 PM, and will reopen at 5:00 AM the following morning.
The closure and detour is necessary to facilitate construction/safety improvement activities. All work is weather permitting.

• Eastbound Exit 9 off-ramp: Take exit 10 follow Route 25 detour.
• Eastbound Exit 9 on-ramp: Follow Route 25 detour to exit 10.
