Wooster School’s Coach Dave MacNutt Stepping Down at End of Season

After 26 years of unrivaled success as the Wooster School Girls Varsity Basketball coach, Dave MacNutt will be stepping down at the end of this season.

We are grateful to Coach MacNutt for having maintained a program that has exemplified all that the school stands for in terms of athletics:  sportsmanship, teamwork, relationships, cooperation, and hard work.  The 16 league titles, 8 team sportsmanship awards, and two New England Championships that our girls have won under Dave’s leadership speak volumes about his talents as a coach and commitment to the development and maturation of his players as students and good people.  Wooster School has been blessed to have him leading this program for so many years.

We will be honoring Coach MacNutt at our Winter Sports Awards ceremony on Monday, March 4, at 6:00 pm. If you’d like to see Coach MacNutt patrolling the hardwood in the Forever Young Gym one last time, and cheer our girls on to what we hope will be yet another victory, our first HVAL playoff game is Thursday, February 21, at 4:00 pm.

Go Generals!
