Newtown First Selectman Rosenthal seeks residents to fill openings on local boards/commissions

First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies and openings on the following boards and commissions:

The Library Board of Trustees has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. 

The Design Advisory Board has an alternate opening available to any registered voter. 

The Economic Development Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter.  Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 10

The Conservation Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or an unaffiliated voter and an opening available to any registered voter.  Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 10

The Employee Medical Benefits Board has an open alternate position available to any registered voter.  Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 10

The Parks & Recreation Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 10

The Board of Ethics has an alternate vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter.  Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 10

The Pension Board has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter.  Candidate recommendations are due by Feb. 18.
