618 Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Connecticut, 384 in Fairfield County

As of March 24, 2020, a total of 618 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported among Connecticut residents.

Cases have been reported in all 8 Connecticut counties. Seventy-one patients were hospitalized, and 12 residents have died (7 in Fairfield County, 2 in Hartford County, and 3 in Tolland County).

The Dr. Katherine A. Kelley State Public Health Laboratory has tested a total of 1038 patients for COVID19; 144 (13%) patients tested positive. The graph below shows the number of patients tested by date specimens were received. Hospital and commercial laboratories also are offering testing for COVID-19 in Connecticut; in total, more than 5300 tests have been reported to date. Please view image #2.
