Today, National Nurses Day, we salute our friends at RVNAhealth. During this COVID-19 pandemic, the team at RVNAhealth stepped up to the plate, ready and willing to do their part to help and heal residents throughout the state in need of medical care. Thank you to these heroes who are putting themselves in harm's way to battle this terrible virus.
Outside of the headquarters on Governor Street in Ridgefield, RVNAhealth Director of Rehabilitation Service, Gigi Weiss, and Sue Law, former nurse who now serves on RVNAhealth Board of Directors, are handing out some goodies to the field staff. In addition to nutritious lunches, water and baked goods (courtesy of National Charity League), RVNAhealth gave their staff plush blankets, eye pads, and a mask for sleeping.
