Drive-Thru Food Distribution at DHS on Saturday

 Danbury High School (43 Clapboard Ridge Road) will host a drive-thru food distribution this Saturday, August 28.

Area residents can drive up from 10 am – 1 pm to receive a box of fresh produce from the CT Food Bank/Foodshare program.

This food distribution is spearheaded by United Way of Western CT who has partnered with the CT Food Bank/Foodshare to bring this drive-thru opportunity to Danbury residents. The CT Food Bank is committed to providing nutritious food to people in need throughout the state. To learn more about where to find CT Food Bank pantries and drive-thru distributions, click here

Walnut Hill Community Church has generously provided logistical and volunteer support for this event.

In addition to the food drive, Danbury High will also host mobile vaccination clinics to provide residents the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Clinics will be provided throughout the month by Griffin Health, RVNA, and CHC, Inc.
