Individuals, families, businesses, sports groups and community organizations are invited to participate in our 3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest.
Choose a Fairfield Hills Lamp Post during the month of October, (first-come, first-served). Build your own unique scarecrow and affix it to your lamp post (you can pick up your number card at our office). You can work on your scarecrow from October 3-24.
Voting:
The community is invited to vote for their favorite scarecrow from October 25-28.
A Ballot Box will be set up on the Fairfield Hills Campus.
Prizes & Categories:
Categories are Most Original | Newtown Pride | People’s Choice
The winner will be announced on October 31. Winners have a chance to win a Summer 2023 Family Pool & Beach Membership Pass or assorted tier prizes donated by local businesses.
Fee: $25 per Lamp Post. All proceeds will benefit our future Bicycle Playground.
