BoostCycle Opens in Newtown’s Plaza South Shopping Center

California Couple Open BoostCycle in Newtown’s Plaza South Shopping Center

Newtown, Connecticut. Husband and wife team Tatiana and Valdrin Mehmeti bring their sunshine state energy and passion for fitness to a new spin studio, BoostCycle, located in the Plaza South Shopping Center, 274 South Main street. Newtown.  BoostCycle boasts 11 bikes, a team of name trainers, bright lights and top of the line music. A juice bar is planned with fresh libations, cleansers and energy shots. Additional amenities include fresh towels, showers and convenient online reservations and payments. The official opening is in early October.

“We always wanted to open our own studio and had been looking for one that was already in place …one that we could put our special mark on,” explains Tatiana.” In California, exercise is a way of life so we wanted to make it more than a place to work out but also one to hang out …a social mecca.  Instead of going to dinner or having a coffee…come on down and spin”

“The best part is that spinning is a great way to get an effective work-out. You can do it in any type of weather, all year long and you don’t have to wear a helmet.  As a matter of fact you can burn 400 to 600 calories in just forty minutes,” she adds.

Says Val,  “We would really like to work with kids…give them something healthy to do, a place to meet.  We plan to reach out to local schools and youth organizations to organize classes and teen nights. Hopefully, there will be something for everyone here.”

Danbury residents Tatiana and Val worked for Live In Fitness in Los Angeles.  Says Tatiana,“ We helped celebrities and major film and TV personalities get and stay fit for upcoming roles.  We also acted as facilitators for film festivals as well as VIP and celebrity escorts.”

BoostCycle is located at 274 South Main Street, Newtown, CT.  For more information: PH 203.491.BOOST
