AUTISM IN LOVE on Thursday, February 7th at 7:00 p.m

Finding love can be hard enough for anyone, but for those with an autism spectrum disorder, the challenges may seem overwhelming. The disorder can jeopardize the core characteristics of a successful relationship — communication and social interaction. Filmed in a highly personal style, Matt Fuller’s Autism in Love offers a warm and stereotype-shattering look at four people as they pursue and manage romantic relationships.

FLOWER ARRANGING 101 on Friday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m.

Sandy Motyka will demonstrate how to take an ordinary bunch of store-bought flowers and arrange them into a pleasing display. Tea and cookies will be served. Please register.


HEALTHY SIMPLE COOKING FOR ONE OR TWO on Thursday, February 21st from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m

A cooking demo of a seasonal meal, with suggestions for leftovers, and a discussion of alternative options for those with nutritional concerns or allergies.

The menu: Baked Mini Turkey Meatloaves with Shredded Zucchini, Baked Sweet Potato Casserole, and Baked Fruit Nachos. Samples and recipes to take home.

AUTHOR TALK & SIGNING on Sunday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m.

The intimate story of a gruesome crime that involved the author’s family of Holocaust survivors. In 2010, they discovered a wooden crate, nailed tightly shut and hidden underneath their cherished lake house. They were not prepared for the horrific contents of the crate.

The discovery traumatized the family, and dredged up their memories of the Holocaust.
