The Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance, which was recently voted "Connecticut's BEST Dance Studio for Kids," is hosting a free Irish dance lesson and open house on Saturday, August 24th from 10:00am-10:45am at their Newtown Studio (3 Simm Lane 3L1, Newtown, CT 06470).
Boys & girls ages 4 and up are welcome to take part in the lesson and learn some Irish dance steps from stars of Riverdance & Lord of the Dance, Craig & Christina Ashurst.
The family owned academy has recently had students featured on WTNH News 8 as well as on stage with PBS stars the Celts and the Celtic Tenors. They have also earned regional titles, national medals and international World qualifying placements.
