Message to Great Quarter Road residents:
Paving will begin on Thursday, August 25th, at 7:00am. The starting point will be at the turnaround at the entrance to the state forest. Please do not park in the turnaround. Great Quarter is one way in and one way out, and narrow, The paving equipment and crews will be utilizing most of the roadway. If you do not move your vehicle closer to the Route 34 entrance by 7:00 am, you will be able to get out, however, it will be a long wait. This may halt mail and any other deliveries. In case of an emergency, all equipment will be moved for emergency vehicle access .
