The Newtown Bee Newspaper gave their endorsement to incumbent Mitch Bolinsky to represent Newtown’s 106th District, referring to him as a “solid” representative.
The Bee noted Bolinsky’s commitment to supporting and protecting Newtown’s senior citizens, education, Second Company Horse Guard, and infrastructure and construction projects. They also noted his appearances at the many numerous community events, taking time to speak with Newtowners.
Bolinsky serves on the Education, Aging, and Appropriations Committees, and is the Assistant Republican Leader in Hartford. The 106th is Newtown’s largest district.
