Congratulations to Jahana Hayes, who was sworn in as the representative for Connecticut’s 5th congressional district. I’m delighted that this dynamic compassionate woman is now in Congress representing us.
Jahana’s election shows that the people in our district care about education, gun control, the environment, and access to health care. Jahana also has plans to revitalize Connecticut by focusing on job creation and training, raising the minimum wage, and growing small businesses.
