An absentee ballot may be applied for by any qualified registered voter unable to vote due to the following reasons:

  • Covid
  • Illness or physical disability
  • Absence from town during all election hours
  • Religious beliefs forbidding secular activity on election day
  • Serving as an election official at a polling place other than your own

Active service in the Armed Forces of the United States

What if I am in the military or currently living overseas? The Federal Post Card Application (FPCA). One FPCA will suffice for both primary and general election ballots for the year. When you receive your absentee ballot, cast your vote(s) and return the ballot without delay.  https://www.fvap.gov/
