Newtown Residents Invited to Speak with Congresswoman Jahana Hayes in Virtual Forum
Newtown, Conn. (October 8, 2020) – Congresswoman Jahana Hayes has invited residents of Newtown to a virtual forum, “Jahana Hears from Newtown,” Monday, October 12 at 6 p.m.
This online event offers residents an up-close-and-personal opportunity to speak directly with Congresswoman Hayes on issues affecting the local region. The forum gives residents a chance to get answers to their questions and learn more about Congresswoman Hayes’ work on behalf of Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District. ABOUT CONGRESSWOMAN JAHANA HAYES:
Congresswoman Jahana Hayes is the U.S. Representative for the Fifth Congressional District of Connecticut. Hayes was elected in November 2018. She is the first African American Congresswoman from Connecticut, and this is her first public office.
