Newtown Police Department is alerting the community to expect traffic delays on Main Street this Thursday, July 14 between 5 to 8pm during which time Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue Chief Bill Halstead's wake will take place at the Honan Funeral Home
"Please expect traffic delays in the area as the community gathers to pay respect and honor Bill's service and sacrifice."
Chief Bill Halstead's funeral will be at the Saint Rose of Lima Church on Church Hill Rd at 10:30 am on Friday, July 15th, 2022. A procession and burial will follow at St. Rose's Cemetery. Please expect traffic delays in the area.
