Winchester Grange is hosting a special music-filled evening on Tuesday, May 8, when they host their annual Music Night Concert. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Winchester Grange Hall is located at 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center, Connecticut.
The concert will include a cross-section of music with performances by vocalist Jerry Alonzo, guitarist Peter Hurlbut, guitarist Jon Keefe, pianist Mary Lou Keefe, flute performance by Alexis Lamere and friends, vocalist Judy Robinson, and pianist Mary Sullivan.
There is no admission charge and you do not have to be a Grange member to attend - the evening is open to everyone. The evening will also feature a Country Store (similar to a Penny Auction) and light refreshments following the concert.
Getting to Winchester Center: From Winsted, take Route 263 to the Winchester Center green. From Torrington, take Newfield Road (at the corner of Winsted Rd. and N. Main St.) to the Winchester Center green.
Celebrating our 130th Anniversary in 2018, Winchester Grange was formed January 2, 1888, and is currently one of the largest Community Granges east of the Mississippi River in membership. Winchester Grange is extremely active in the Winchester Center community, holding numerous programs and events year-round.
