Harmony for Hunger Concert to Benefit Local Food Banks

On Saturday, May 5, the 20th Annual Harmony for Hunger concert will take place at the Second Congregational Church of Winsted, 800 Main Street, at 6 p.m. The concert will feature local musicians, including  Karl Gallmeyer; the Laurel City Singers; the Second Congregational Senior Choir; Gilbert School Flute Choir; Kate, Debra & Debbie, with Dave Kenna; Chris King on organ; and the Pat MacDonald Bluegrass Band.

As in years past, proceeds from the evening will be divided equally between The Open Door Soup Kitchen and the Winsted Salvation Army Food Bank.

Tickets are available at the door: $10, adults, $5, seniors and children, $20 maximum per family.
