Ballet Etudes Company will return to the Westport Country Playhouse with the 25th Anniversary full-length production of "The Nutcracker," featuring guest artists from New York City Ballet.
In this family friendly classic set to the music of Tchaikovsky, Clara's dream world is brought to life—from the party with Drosselmeyer and the dancing dolls to the battle between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker Prince. Clara takes a magical journey to the Land of the Snow and is entertained by Mother Ginger, Goldilocks, Chinese Dragons and more.
This seasonal ballet tradition captures the classical beauty of the Snow Queen, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier, and the Waltz of the Flowers.
