Another comic movie post? Yeah, you knew this was coming.
Thor returns to the big screen in this sequel that takes places after the events in "Thor" and "The Avengers." In this second installment, Thor goes up against a powerful enemy in Malekith, leader of the Dark Elves, who all have superhuman abilities and superior intellect with Malekith being the most gifted.
With Malekith intending to destroy the universe, Thor must find a way to defeat his new enemy, even if it means freeing his probably not to be trusted brother Loki to help out.
Verdict: I didn't make a midnight screening but I won't be able to contain myself so I'll be out early to catch the first show I can make on opening day. And you can bet "Thor" will be number one this weekend.
Tip: Stick around until after the credits. Marvel loves to do that bonus scene stuff, especially with all the "Iron Man"/"Captain America"/"Thor"/"Avengers" films. And be on the lookout for a Chris Evans as Captain America cameo although it's really Loki using his magic.
