Locals, Local Restaurants Unite to Support the Norwalk Education Foundation Fundraiser

Aitoro Appliance & Electronics was packed full of local supporters and area restaurants who showed their support for the Norwalk Education Foundation's annual fundraiser on November 7, 2013.

A ticket to the event included food samples, small plates and drinks from participating restaurants and business such as Mama's Boy Southern Table & Refuge, Bar Sugo, Saffron, Bella Pasta, Café Madrid, B.J. Ryan's and B.J. Ryan's BANC House, Ninety 9 Bottles, Drinks Unlimited, and Forever Sweet Bakery.

While guests mingled they also had a chance to bid on items in the silent auction that featured a variety of items like tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman, lunch or dinner at local eateries, gift baskets, spa packages, and even a signed baseball from Stephen Drew of the World Series champion Boston Red Sox.

All of the funds raised from both the ticket sales and the silent auction help the Norwalk Education Foundation continue its mission to enhance the understanding, support and advocacy for educational improvements that sustain and drive student achievement for all of Norwalk's children.
