The Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital recently celebrated the 56th birthday of the Treasure House, the thrift shop they voluntarily operate, by conducting an open house and refreshments for their customers. The Treasure House is located at 5 Isaacs Street in Norwalk.
During the celebration, Carol Kachmarck, President of the Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital, presented a check for $20,000 to Norwalk Hospital President Michael Daglio, the last installment of a three-year pledge for the Forever Garden, a place where visitors, patients and staff can sit and read or talk and visit with each other. The Forever Garden is located outside the McGraw Pavilion at Norwalk Hospital. A ribbon-cutting event is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

About Norwalk Hospital
Norwalk Hospital is a partner hospital of the Western Connecticut Health Network, Connecticut's premier, patient-centered health care organization. Norwalk Hospital was established in 1893 by our devoted community and built for the people we continue to serve in Western Connecticut and adjacent New York. The 325-bed hospital is a place where patients always come first, where our talented staff takes pride in keeping people well and providing compassionate, contemporary care when our patients need our help most. We take heart that no matter how great the challenge, here every medical history can become a brighter medical future.
