Open Mic Night

Comedians, poets, writers and musicians are all welcome...and of course audience members! If you want Kenneth to accompany you at the piano, bring music printed out in your key.  All singers are encouraged to sing with live accompaniment.

Sign-up for those who wish to perform is from 6:30 (when the doors open) to 6:55 pm. There are a limited number of spots and they are on a first come, first served basis.   Many people are there at 6:30 when the doors open to sign up  

The evening is structured as a traditional open mic night with the Featured Entertainer doing a set in the middle of the evening.

We ask that you keep your material 'family friendly'.
Some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Patty Nieman is a New York-based singer-actress whose recent credits include: Angel DeLuna – The Awakening of Angel DeLuna (NYMF 2013) and Mrs. Weston – Jane Austen’s Emma (Arizona Theatre Co.). Patty has performed regionally with The History Theatre (Sisters of Swing: The Story of the Andrews Sisters); The Guthrie Theater (Babes in Arms); the Ordway Center (Hot ‘n Cole, Anything Goes, A Little Night Music); Illusion Theater (Tell Me on a Sunday, Vanishing Point, Two Weeks with the Queen); Vocal Essence (Most Happy Fella); North Star Opera (She Loves Me); and Theater Latté Da (Lost in Boston, Falsettos). In 2008, she created a one-woman musical, Secrets of the Little Yellow Diary, with composer Rob Hartmann for the Minnesota Fringe Festival.
