DEEP Issues Air Quality Alert for Fairfield County

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has issued an Air Quality Action Day for the following counties:
Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex and New London from 11 PM this evening to 11 PM EDT Friday.

An Air Quality Action Day means that Fine Particulates within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
