Why did you start your business?
DNG Truck Repair was founded in 2020 by my father Dennis, and me. We are stationed here in Norwalk however we tend to do more road calls that involve broken-down vehicles. With each passing day, trucks are becoming more sophisticated and complex, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to enhance their performance and efficiency.
I saw a growing need for specialized expertise in repairing and maintaining these high-tech vehicles. By keeping up with the latest advancements and investing in the necessary tools and training, I aimed to provide reliable and top-notch repair services to truck owners, ensuring their vehicles can operate optimally in this rapidly evolving technological landscape.
What is your best-selling product/service?
My best-selling service is a specialized cleaning solution for Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) on current model Isuzu's and Cummins-operated vehicles. These DPFs play a crucial role in reducing emissions and maintaining engine efficiency, but they can become clogged over time. My cleaning service utilizes advanced chemical formulations and state-of-the-art equipment to effectively remove soot and particulate matter, restoring the DPF's functionality and extending its lifespan.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Here at DNG Truck Repair, we prioritize supporting local businesses, recognizing the value of collaboration and community. Our strong relationship with Bouton Street Garage, another local truck repair shop, allows us to exchange knowledge, resources, and expertise, ensuring that our customers receive comprehensive and reliable services.
We frequently partner with Rysz Storage Battery Co, a trusted electrical and battery store, to source high-quality electrical components and batteries for our repair jobs. Additionally, we rely on Crystal Ice, a Norwalk-based company, for a steady supply of ice! By fostering these connections with local businesses, we contribute to the growth and success of the Norwalk, CT community while providing our customers with top-notch services.
