Teacher Weekend at the Maritime: Free Admission for Teachers and One Guest

The Maritime Aquarium Welcomes Teachers

Teachers a guest of their choosing will receive free admission to The Maritime Aquarium when they visit for “Teacher Weekend” on Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22.

In addition to seeing the Aquarium’s exhibits and beloved animals, teachers will have the opportunity to speak with members of the award-winning Education Department about programs – both at the Aquarium and their schools – for students in early elementary through high school.

“The Aquarium is an incredible resource for our local educators,” said Vice President of Education Tom Naiman. “Whether students are experiencing an up close animal encounter or conducting a STEM experiment, they are highly engaged and motivated to develop their critical thinking skills. We look forward to discussing how we can be a part of your annual curriculum.”

All teachers, including homeschool teachers, are welcome to attend the event. Valid employee ID or documentation must be provided.
