Team Sherpa Rides CT Challenge for 4th Year

CT Challenge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the 14 million cancer survivors in Connecticut and throughout the U.S. rebuild, improve and prolong their lives through fitness, nutrition, community support and lifestyle programs tailored to their unique needs.

This year, Team Sherpa will be riding and fundraising for the Connecticut Challenge for it's 4th year in a row. The CT Challenge and Sherpa are both heavily involved in lower Fairfield County in increasing physical activity and promoting a constructive environment in which a healthy lifestyle is paramount.

Last year's Sherpa team consisted of 18 members and raised nearly $17,000. This year they are looking to recruit a total of 20 members with a group fundraising goal of $20,000 and they hope YOU will consider joining them! The team is open to anyone and everyone - and if you are a Fairfield county resident you have the good fortune of being able to train with them at their facility or, when the weather improves, outdoors.

With the starting line of the CT Challenge just a mile around the corner from Sherpa's cycling center and training facility in Westport, CT this event is considered an A-list event for clients, friends, and family. For all team members, Sherpa will donate 20% of all purchases (at Sherpa) leading up to the event back to their donation page.

This event is open to all levels: each rider has the choice between riding 10-100 miles or a 2-day 81 mile option.

Dates: July 25-26. For more information click here.
