Norwalk Fire Department Toy Drive Runs Through December 20

The Norwalk Fire Department has partnered with the Human Services Council to support their annual holiday Toy and Gift Drive.

For over 20 years, Children’s Bank, a program of the Children’s Connection, has provided holiday gifts for children who are most in need in our communities. The Connecticut Department of Children & Families (DCF) and other Norwalk agencies provide approximately 3,500 individual holiday wishes collected from the children they serve. These children have been abused, neglected and/or are at-risk, many of whom live in foster care or group homes and are struggling with frightening and unclear futures. For some of these children and teens, this is the only gift they will receive.

The Drive will begin on Friday, November 23 and runs through December 20. New, unwrapped items can be dropped off at the following Fire Stations in Norwalk. While toys are always welcome for the younger children, please remember kids in middle and high school.

·         Station 1 – 90 New Canaan Ave

·         Station 2- Fire Headquarters- 121 Connecticut Ave

·         Station 4- 180 Westport Ave

·         Station 5- 23 Meadow Street
