Fairfield County Bank will be matching up to $100 of each donation made on behalf of the Ruden Report Team for the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, for a total of $5,000.
The Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s® will be held on Saturday, October 9 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. The Ruden Report has long-been a supporter of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, rallying high school sports teams across Fairfield County to register and raise awareness each year. “We are thrilled to be able to amplify the impact of the donations made to the Fairfield County Walk through the Ruden Report Team,” said Stephen Wooters, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Electronic Banking at Fairfield County Bank.
Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, with more than six million Americans living with the disease. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
