Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo, naturopathic physician, researcher, and author of the New York Times best-seller “Eat Right for Your Type” opens the new Westport/Weston Family Y with a free lecture on November 6.
Dr. D’Adamo, launched a revolution in the way we approach nutrition with his concept of personalized diets when he introduced his Blood Type Diet theory in 1996. He has since authored 18 books on health and nutrition and further refined his research to include the emerging science of nutrigenomics. Dr. D’Adamo is honored to be among the first speakers to open the new Westport/Weston Family Y with a lecture on Thursday, November 6, at 7pm, at the Bedford Family Center at 14 Allen Raymond Lane in Westport. The event is free and open to members and non-members alike.
In his lecture entitled, The Promise of Personalized Nutrition, Dr. D’Adamo will discuss the proven connection between our genetic makeup and many of our nation’s most serious and costly health problems – obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, cognitive decline, and inflammation among them.
