O'Neills & NCHC promote GIVING OF THE GREEN

March 17 may be a day for the wearing of the green. But Norwalk Community Health Center (NCHC) and O’Neill’s Pub in South Norwalk want Thursday, MARCH 1, 2018 to be remembered for the giving of the green. From 6 pm to 7pm on Thursday, March 1, NCHC will be at O’Neill’s to help patrons and supporters make their donations via the FCGives.org platform to keep healthcare within reach for our most vulnerable men, women and children. O’Neill’s will also be donating a percentage of March 1 purchases to keep Norwalk healthy.

O’Neill’s Pub and Restaurant is located at 93N. Main Street, South Norwalk. It will be open on Fairfield County’s Giving Day, Thursday, March 1 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and hosting NCHC for Fairfield County’s Giving Day Happy Hour between 6 pm and 7 pm.

Fairfield County Community Foundation and Bank of America have designated the 6 pm to 7 pm hour on March 1 as a Happy Hour ‘power hour.’ A Happy Hour donation to NCHC of as little as $10 could position the nonprofit health provider to win a $1000 cash incentive prize for wellness programs.

A nationally recognized federally qualified health center, NCHC provides comprehensive health care (adult, pediatric, women’s-OB/GYN, behavioral, and dental health) to nearly 14,000 unique patients each year at 120 Connecticut Avenue and aboard its Mobile Medical Unit, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Stop by O’Neill’s on March 1, visit NCHC’s website, www.norwalkchc.org, and find Norwalk Community Health Center on Facebook @norwalkchc to learn how NCHC is leading greater Norwalk to its best health.
