Fairfield County Bank sponsors NCHC VINE TO WINE May 16

Norwalk Community Health Center, Inc. (NCHC) is hosting Vine To Wine, an awareness and fundraising evening to launch its Campaign to Prevent Childhood Obesity to get them moving well on a healthy path. The inaugural event is set for May 16, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at Gallaher Mansion, 300 Grumman Avenue, in Norwalk’s Cranbury Park.  A nationally recognized federally qualified health center, NCHC provides comprehensive health care (adult, pediatric, women’s, behavioral, and dental health) to nearly 14,000 unique patients each year, regardless of a patient’s situation or ability to pay.

NCHC Vine To Wine is inviting guests, 21 and over, for a casual evening where they can enjoy wine and craft beer tastings courtesy of BevMax, farm to table finger foods from du Soleil, and music from talented young 4 x 4 String Quartet and Back County Jazz Beboppers Band musicians and chat with old and new friends in the Mansion, on the terrace, or under the lighted tent. Frank Whitman, longtime Norwalk innkeeper, foodie and columnist, will talk about seasonal dining and entertaining in Southern Connecticut.

Thanks to the generosity of NCHC Vine To Wine lead sponsor Fairfield County Bank and Benefit Planning Services, an Alera Group Company, Nantes Solutions, and Henry Schein Company, the evening’s proceeds will go directly to tackling childhood obesity for our pediatric patients and in the community. Tickets are $40.They can be purchased in advance at www.norwalkchc.org/events  or https://nchc-vinetowine.eventbrite.com, or at the door, subject to availability.
