Marine & Coastal Opens July 1 at the Rowayton Arts Center

The Marine and Coastal exhibition opens July 1 at the Rowayton Arts Center. This show features artwork (all by RAC Exhibiting Members) with a marine and coastal theme and includes paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture. The opening reception is Sunday, July 1 (4-6pm) and is free and open to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists and view (and purchase) their art.  The Chair is Sandy Mills (Norwalk) and Co-chair is Elaine Pagano (Rowayton). The Judge is art instructor and award winning artist Will McCarthy.   The exhibit will be on view until Sunday, July 29.

For almost 60 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem in the community. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists may exhibit and sell their art as well as a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The RAC Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels. The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday: 11-5pm. Open Sunday (11am-2pm).
