Set in gritty 19th century New York City, MY NOTORIOUS LIFE is the story of Axie Muldoon, a formidable child of Irish immigrants who works her way off the brutal streets to become one of the most successful—and scandalous—women of her time.
KATE MANNING is the author of the critically-acclaimed novel Whitegirl. A former documentary television producer and winner of two Emmy Awards, she has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, Glamour, and More magazines, among other publications.
