Clay Art Center Ornament Making Class

Looking for something fun to do with your family during the holidays? Clay Art Center’s annual ornament making clay class is a special holiday event. Create a handmade personalized holiday ornament that your family will treasure forever. There are four sessions to choose from on the first two Saturdays in December – December 1 or 8 at 1:30 or 3:30pm. For adults, children, families and friends ages 5 – 99. No previous experience necessary! Beginner’s welcome.

To Register: Space is Limited. Tickets go on sale at the front desk at 10am the day of class. Call us at 914-937-2047 to register. First Come First Served.

Fee: $20 per child under 12, $30 adult

Children under 12 must attend with a guardian enrolled in the class.

This class includes materials and firing. Ornaments will be glazed and fired and available for pick up 2 weeks after your class.

SHOP Local and give hand-made! Clay Art Center’s highly coveted annual holiday sale is a time to shop and to discover the area's only ceramic center, where sculptors and potters work in a cooperative environment.  Visitors are welcome to tour our artists’ studio spaces and meet the artists.

Clay Art Center was founded in 1957 by Katherine Choy and Henry Okamoto. Unknown to them at the time, Clay Art Center would grow into an 11,000 square foot non-profit art center that delivers programming for professional artists, students, collectors, and the Westchester County community at large.

Clay Art Center is a nationally recognized non-profit center for the advancement and practice of ceramic arts offering exhibitions, clay classes for adults and children, studio spaces for clay artists and outreach programs in the community.  It is located in the heart of Port Chester at 40 Beech Street, Port Chester, NY 10573. Gallery and SHOP hours are Monday - Saturday, 10am-5pm or by appointment.
