The Norwalk Land Trust is hosting a Walk in the Woods Jan. 12 (Saturday) at the White Barn Preserve in the Cranbury District (78 Cranbury Rd.), an outing open to the public and offering environmental insights, philosophy and tai chi, a gentle form of exercise to combat stress.
Bill Wrenn, newly named as a director of the land trust, is the walk leader. Wrenn is a professional photographer, nature enthusiast and birder. He is a former member of the Norwalk Common Council and teaches tai chi and qigong classes at the Norwalk Library, New Canaan YMCA and other venues in Fairfield County.
“Come and lift your spirits,” says the NLT, a nonprofit steward to 100 acres of open space in the community.
The Jan. 12 date is a reprise of a similar outing at the preserve last Dec. 15.
