Filipino Feast in SoNo, Oct. 4

HAPA's Chef Chris Gonzalez has partnered with SoNo 1420 craft distillery and Ria Rueda of Bread & Butter Marketing to bring you their first ever Kamayan style dinner to celebrate Filipino American History Month!

Tagalog for "by hand," kamayan is the traditional Filipino form of eating.

A kamayan meal is a communal feast served family-style eaten with a large group of friends, featuring a variety of Filipino dishes served on banana leaves over rice and eaten with your hands.

THE FOOD

The menu includes multi-course culinary feast featuring lumpia (Filipino spring roll), lechon belly (pork belly), grilled bangus (milkfish), chicken inasal (lemongrass BBQ chicken), longanisa (sweet sausage), garlic rice, tomato + salted egg, ube flan, and more!

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    The night will kick off with a cocktail hour featuring specialty cocktails inspired by the flavors of the Philippines. After the cocktail hour, guests will be seated and the dinner experience will begin. The bar will remain open to purchase beverages throughout the evening. An afterparty will close out the night in the main tasting room!
