The New York Times today announced that registration is now open for its 2020 New York Times Travel Show, the largest and longest-running trade and consumer travel show in North America. Now in its 17th year, the event will take place Friday, Jan. 24 to Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Tickets are available at NYTimes.com/TravelShow.
This year’s event presents an expansive showcase featuring more than 750 exhibitors —leading experts in various travel industries including hotels, resorts, spas, cruises and airlines around the world—coming together for three days to share the latest travel news, trends and inspiration for the year ahead.
The first day of the Travel Show on Friday, Jan. 24 is reserved exclusively for travel industry professionals and members of the media. The day will include expert seminars which will inform travel professionals of the latest industry products and services, destination information and consumer trends.

The first Keynote session, “How Travelers Think and Why You Should Care,” commences at 9 a.m. and will be given by Chris Davidson, Executive Vice President, Insights & Strategy, MMGY Global, reviewing the results of the organization’s annual travel survey. The second Keynote session, at 12:45 p.m., brings together visionaries of the travel industry to explain “What the Future Holds.” Panelists include Matthew Upchurch, Chairman and C.E.O., Virtuoso; Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and C.E.O., Celebrity Cruises; Daniel Skjeldam, C.E.O., Hurtigruten AS; and Leigh Barnes, Chief Customer Officer, Intrepid Travel.
