Norwalk Community Chorale Presents Wonder of Winter FREE Christmas Concert

Norwalk Community Chorale Presents “Wonder of Winter” Free Christmas Concert 

The Norwalk Community Chorale, now in its 59th year, will present “Wonder of Winter”, a free Christmas concert, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Avenue, Norwalk. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. There is open seating for all sections.

Highlights of the program include the 19th century carol “The Angel Gabriel”; “Carols of the Night”; “Eight Days of Lights”, a Chanukah celebration; “Wexford Carol”, a 12th century Irish favorite; “Wonder of Winter”, a reflection on the season’s magic, and “Hydom, Tiddlydom” a traditional Czech carol.

The eighty-member mixed chorus is led by Conductor and Artistic Director Brian Muller. Pianist Will Duchon and the American Chamber Orchestra led by Artistic Director Christopher Hisey will accompany all choral pieces.
